1. What do you think of the new site? Well I just got here, but I've been surfing thru the place all day and I love it!!!

2. Is there something missing you would like to see? Nothing that I have noticed... yet! lol

3. Is there something you'd like to see go? No... even if there would be something that I didn't like, that doesn't mean someone else does!

4. What about how compact each Category is, do you like it the way it is or should they be expanded just a bit? As I said... this is my first day here and so far, so good!!!

5. Should we open up to everyone or just keep things as is and by referral/word of mouth only? I didn't realize that is how you have it, but I think that's a great idea. More intimate and personal (which I love about this group) and it cuts down on the potential for unwanted drama!

I did not know you were in Houston..that is where I am from...and I just watched Soul Surfer yesterday that was a really good movie.


1. Did you ever watch any 'game shows'? If so.. which one/s? I don't watch game shows unless you consider the reality ones where they get money.

2. Name one thing on your bucket list. To see a white sand beach and that blue blue water don't care where I see though.

3. A foreign country you'd like to visit... why? Italy..I would love to go to Rome and see the Vatican and the beautiful country side and where they grow the grapes for wine..that country looks so beautiful and romantic.

Yes, have been here since November of last year and will be here until 'after the first of the year'. (Who knows when that will be. lol) Oh, that's cool... come visit if the time permits. (I know how visits 'home' go... I was just sitting here thinking of all the people I didn't get to see when I went home... the time just flies!)

1. If you had 2 days to live what fun things would you do? Spend it with my family doing everything the grand kids wanted to do... just enjoying watching them laugh!

2. what if your favorite book? Charlotte's Web! (One of the first Danielle Steel books I read was 'Thurston House' and I always thought it was one of the best I had read.)

4. what if one of you favorite childhood memories. Our last family vacation. WE took a camping trip to Ocean City Maryland... my mother was very ill and couldn't travel far, but we knew it would be our last vacation as a family. With 6 kids, it's amazing... we ALL appreciated EVERYTHING about that trip, just spending time together. There was not one fight, not one complaint, and not one who wanted to go off and do their own thing. (It was bitter-sweet.)

5. who was your best friend growing up and do you still talk to them now? A girl I went to school with who also went to our church. Her name was Bobbie Kay, and we've just recently reconnected on facebook.

1. Your favorite place to visit in Houston? (If Skia answers, if not... just your favorite place to visit. lol) Houston has grown a lot since I last lived there..but some of the places I enjoyed are the Houston Zoo and the Natural History museum. A super fun place to eat if it's still around was the Spaghetti warehouse in downtown Houston..he has a history if being haunted. If you like to drive around a look at houses..River Oaks has some amazing homes. If want to travel down south..In Clear Lake City there is the Johnson Space center and if you love good old fashioned hamburgers there is awesome place in Seabrook Texas called Tookies..my favorite place to eat. Further down South in Galveston besides the beach...Moody Gardens is a great place to visit tons of things to see there.

3. Have you ever been through a earthquake,hurricane or tornado? Hurricane in NC last year... my first! It's a little unsettling here in TX were there are signs all over the place warning you that it's hurricane season!
